P.O.O.C.H. Dog Park
POOCH Off-leash Dog Park... is for the enjoyment of our companion dogs. We, their guardians, are responsible for their actions as well as our own.
This park is over two acres and offers lots of room for dogs to run. Benches and chairs are available in the sun or in the shade. Drinking water for pets and people is also available. Small pools and hoses are provided for fun and cleanliness.
Dogs who run and socialize with other dogs and people are better behaved and healthier than those restricted to home or a back yard. It is also a place for animals to develop socialization skills their early life may not have permitted. Many rescued dogs and their new guardians have benefited from their experiences here at POOCH Park.
P.O.O.C.H is an abbreviation for Pet Owners Organization of Citrus Heights, the founder of the park in cooperation with Sunrise Recreation and Park District. The park is open every day throughout the year from dawn to dusk.
Visit us often, and please, follow the rules posted outside the gate.
The dog park is closed for maintenance every Thursday from 12 noon to 3 pm.
